KOULAH RUG

Turkish prayer rugs of fine workmanship, made of all wool. They have a single centre panel (prayer space) with a flat base and a domed roof forming the prayer arch. This panel is plain colour and above it are floral and geometrical motifs. The borders are elaborate and of many stripes.
